As a member of the Consor Team, Castillo Engineering provided construction engineering inspection services for the SR. 93 I-75 Express Lanes Segment E Project. This Design-Build (D/B), Lump Sum project consisted of the construction of the I-75 Express Lanes improvements within the existing median. In addition, the I-75 Express lanes were connected to the I-595 Express lanes with a two-lane high level bridge, designed and constructed for reversible travel. The project also included ground-mounted sound barrier walls, environmental/building permit acquisition, new drainage system installation, MSE wall, Toll/ITS system, permanent traffic monitoring sites, lighting, signing, and landscaping.
